What does your food mean for yourself, animals and society?

What do you weigh up when you choose what to eat?

When it comes to food, you weigh up all sorts of things: taste, price, health, what your family thinks of it. What animals experience often counts for less. This game shows what your choices mean for yourself, for animals and for society.

Why play this game?

The more you know, the better you choose. Taking animals into account often turns out to be in your own interest too: for your health, your wallet and the environment you live in.

How it works

The game follows the steps in which people change their behaviour, according to the model of Fishbein and Ajzen: knowing, weighing up, looking at others, making an intention and feeling responsible. You get 20 questions. The first four have a right answer. After that, it is about your opinion. After each answer you see a short response. At the end you see where your barriers are. It takes about five minutes.

The game follows the attitude-behaviour model of Fishbein and Ajzen, as explained in Why don’t more people go vegan? A psychological model. The statements are chosen anew each time, so you can play the game more than once. Game made in October 2026.
